Lukfo was an Italy-based fashion-tech startup that aimed to transform online shopping with AI-powered virtual try-on technology.

My Role: • Built the initial mobile app prototype using React Native and NestJS backend • Implemented AI-powered virtual try-on feature that allowed users to see how clothes would look on them through their phone camera in real-time • Developed intelligent size recommendation algorithm using computer vision to help users find the perfect fit based on body measurements • Worked on equity-based compensation as an early-stage technical contributor • Created the MVP that was used for investor pitches and capital raising efforts • Collaborated with Italy-based founder on product vision and technical architecture

Project Status: The project was eventually closed as the founder was unable to secure funding. Despite the closure, this experience provided valuable insights into building AI-driven consumer applications, working with computer vision models, and understanding the challenges of early-stage startups in a high-risk, high-reward environment.
