Captain Vijaykanth App

This was a government organization application for promoting political leader Captain Vijaykanth (DMDK party, Tamil Nadu) with integrated video news distribution capabilities.

My Role: • Led a 2-member development team to deliver the complete application in 2 months • Developed Android application using Ionic and Angular 1.x • Built backend REST API using Slim Framework (PHP) • Created video streaming functionality for quick news distribution • Developed comprehensive Administrative Panel for content management • Implemented push notifications for news alerts and updates • Built user engagement features including polls, feedback, and social sharing • Designed data flow architecture allowing admins to control all app content • Optimized video delivery for varying network conditions in India

Project Status: The promotional app is no longer active on Play Store following the political leader's passing. This fast-paced project taught me to deliver under tight deadlines and build scalable content management systems.
