Builder.ai

Builder.ai was a platform that promised to revolutionize app development by using AI to build custom software. I worked with them for nearly a year as a contractor before the company faced significant challenges.

My Role: • Worked as a Frontend Developer contractor (not full-time employee) for approximately one year • Led frontend team and mentored junior developers on Angular best practices • Created reusable UI components following atomic design principles • Implemented microfrontend architecture to enable independent team deployments • Consumed GraphQL APIs for efficient data fetching and state management • Contributed to the component library used across multiple products • Participated in code reviews and established frontend development standards

Project Status: The company's business model eventually faced challenges and the entire operation was shut down. Despite this outcome, the experience provided valuable exposure to large-scale enterprise Angular applications, microfrontend architecture, and leading distributed development teams.
